Season’s greeting and A Happy New Year.
We would like to thank you for your continued support during the past year.
Last year was a year in which the world and the economy finally restarted with the movement of people, triggered by the change in the status of COVID-19 infections to category 5 under the Infectious Disease Control Law in May.
While there were some bright spots, the manufacturing industry in general continues to face a difficult economic environment.
The year ended with many challenges, including price went up on all materials and other commodities such as electricity, oil, toolings, and transportation costs, excess inventories at various companies triggered by the shortage of semiconductors, and also facing generational change.
In 2024, we will focus more than ever on expanding sales of new items and taking on the challenge of new businesses, and we will mobilize the strengths of our three bases - Tokyo Head Office, Ibaraki Plant, and Osaka Tagawa Plant - to resolve issues.
We sincerely hope that 2024 will be a fruitful and wonderful year for all of you.
